Primary 5 Secret Topic Revealed

Primary 5 have had a great term 3 we have been working extremely hard. Since the end of January we have been working on our secret topic and we transformed our whole class into a MAGIC CASTLE It was hard work but well worth it. We had an open afternoon for the primary 2’s and they all seemed to have great fun. Our open night for parents and grandparents was on Thursday 26th March and it was so exciting. We couldn’t wait to show off all our hard work. In groups we painted stones walls, we covered the windows in black milskin so it was really dark and magical. Fairy lights were added to the top of the walls to add extra effects. We made suits of armour, secret panels and in groups we made different pieces of furniture- a clock, treasure chest, a chair, fireplace and the door to our fabulous castle. Indivividually we completed different pieces of writing our magic spells, a witch or wizard biography, castle maps and our fantasy broomsticks. We have received lots of positive comments in our comment book from our families. It has been fantastic!!
